JULIA BOTTOMS

I scored these on the final sale for $39. I like all the extra gathering and stitching around the front, which gives it structure. The bum feels a bit tight with elastics, which I like because there will be no chance of bum cheek slippage ;) I am tall with the rise on these fits me just below the belly button. My measurements are 31" waist, 39" hips. I am not too athletic or curvy in terms and found that the medium fits me well. The elastics around the legs/bum are a bit tight, but i think it'll loosen up nicely after a few wears. The red is a nice colour - it's a straight up fire hydrant red - not burgundy.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Julia Bottoms! They are very flattering and as a mom with two little ones it is nice that they stay put!

After listening to my friends rave about Nettle's Tale (and spontaneously booking a trip to Mexico next month) I decided to order the Julia bottoms (black). I am SO excited to show these babies off on the beach! It's such a relief to find bikini bottoms that are attractive without being too clingy or revealing. I love the stitching on the front and the flattering way the fabric lies. Thank you, Nettle's Tale team!

Somehow, I love these bottoms more than my last pair! The fit is extremely flattering! The only thing I would change is how tight the elastic is around the legs and booty.
