SKIRT BOTTOM

I haven't had a new swimsuit [that fits!] in a very long time, so was excited to see that you had a swim skirt in my size, and jumped at the chance to try out Nettle's Tale after first hearing about your launch from a friend longer ago than I'd like to admit.

Unlike other companies, the product description was accurate!

Size matches measurements, check.
High waist that wasn't too loose or too tight, check.
Comfortable brief, check.
Well-constructed... Wow. I really did not expect such sturdy fabric, let alone how well it was put together!

I happily went swimming---swimming! not just paddling my feet---for the first time in about 25 years. Thank you! You've helped this aging Water Baby regain confidence in one of her true joys.

I love this swim skirt. I have a pretty noticeable apron belly and back rolls and have never felt comfortable in a pair of bottoms. I tried a few swim skirts and they were never high waisted enough for me. This is truly holy grail for me. I bought one about 2/3 years ago and it is still looks like brand new after almost daily use in the summer and hot months in Texas!

However, I’ve been unwell and lost a lot of weight. The apron belly is still there so I needed to go down 2 sizes. Unfortunately the black was all sold out but I managed to snag the last bell floral in my size.

Please don’t ever stop making these 🙏🏽 I will be back to buy more in other colours so please make more!

I got the black skirt, the fit is accurate to the size chart and the soft fold waistband is able to accommodate the different sizes of my stomach throughout the day while keeping me comfortable. I love the A line shape, it gives me the illusion of hips. I thought this was a skort, but the bottoms underneath are a bikini brief cut. so I won’t be attempting any handstands while wearing this (lest the cheeks emerge), but the piece is still great for paddling around.

This skirt is perfect - flattering A-line, nicely weighted material, and excellent bottom coverage. It definitely a modest option for splashing with kids, sitting on lawn chairs and walking to the ice cream stand. It's versatile enough to wear with a rash guard or bikini top.
