THE DEIRDRE

I ordered this and was very pleased to get it in the mail. The material is beautiful quality and I love the style. Alas, it is very short in the torso and was very very tightly sewed under the bust. So much so that squeezing it on was very difficult and I feared the stitches would let go. There was no give in that area at all. Once on the bust proved unsuitable with very little support to prevent side sagging. I had to return it which was sad and disappointing. There was no problem with the return and I've always appreciated the kind service.

I love my Deirdre one-piece bathing suit. The trouble is I can't swim freely in it because there is nothing to keep my breasts from popping out. I wear it, but always have to be aware of what I'm doing - no jumping up out of the water, no playing around, even water running or water aerobics classes are out. Disappointing as the suit was very expensive - because it's Amazing quality! Maybe just an optional breast trapping insert for active ladies

This is the first bathing suit I’ve owned that I actually enjoy wearing and am not self-conscious in. I’ll be buying more for Nettle’s Tale!

The quality is wonderful, the design and manufacture is excellent. However I find it to be a little short in the body and a little tighter than I was expecting and that is a disappointment. I measured very carefully and was looking forward to a more comfortable fit.

I have had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and have found it extremely difficult to find a bathing suit that covers my scars but more importantly is comfortable... this checked all the boxes! And it looked good even if I do say so myself :))
